Path of a Guardian

Elantra, a continent which has seen turbulent wars leading to delicate political conflicts and dilemmas, one where conquests have seen elven and dwarven races being bred out and conquered. This is the tale of Ramkus, a lone figure who arises in the world with no memory or understanding of who he is, only that he is to set out on a journey to traverse the lands in order to find out who he is - a Guardian - an arbiter of peace and justice. Not knowing his place in the world, Ramkus grapples with the conundrum of identity, often battling or confiding psychologically with a dark passenger in his mind named Prince. Joined on his path from time to time by companions who share with him life's many lessons, Ramkus must seek out the people who will offer answers to his questions: what his place is in this world.
